Jaime Granados serves as the Division Chief of the Trade and Investment Division at the Inter-American Development Bank since May 1998, where responsibilities include leading trade and integration operations in Mesoamerican countries. From January 2004 to May 2008, Jaime Granados contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, teaching a seminar focused on Law and Policy of Trade and Integration in the Americas. Prior experience includes the role of Director de Negociaciones Comerciales Internacionales at the Ministerio de Comercio Exterior de Costa Rica from September 1992 to May 1998. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Public Policy from the University of Oxford, an LLM in International Trade from the University of Georgia School of Law, and a degree from Universidad de Costa Rica.
