Kirk Anderson

Kirk Anderson is an experienced translator and reviser with over two decades of expertise in language services, currently serving at the Inter-American Development Bank since November 2010. Previously, Anderson worked as a translator, editor, and writer at Passwords Communications, Inc. from 1999 to November 2010, and held the position of adjunct lecturer in translation at Florida International University from 1997 to 2008. With certification in translating Spanish and French to and from English, Anderson specializes in legal, international trade, development, journalism, and the food and beverage industry, particularly wine. Additionally, Anderson has contributed to professional organizations, serving on the Board of Directors of the American Translators Association from 1999 to 2005 and participating in its PR committee from 2006 to 2007. Academic credentials include an MA in Regional Studies from Harvard University and a BA in Modern Foreign Languages from Kenyon College.
