Irma Alvarado

Irma Alvarado is an experienced academic and professional in the fields of human resources and international business. Currently serving as an HR & International Business Professor at Inter American University of Puerto Rico - Bayamón Campus since July 2016, Alvarado previously held the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs from August 2010 to July 2016 and served as Director of Business Administration and Associate Professor from August 1991 to July 2010, alongside a brief directorship from August 1998 to July 2000. Alvarado's educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Business, a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, all from Inter American University of Puerto Rico and University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras. Additionally, Alvarado holds professional certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute.
