Fadi Chehadé is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Chehadé & Company, an advisory company with clients across the technology, education and creative sectors. Mr. Chehadé is a board member of Sentry Data Systems and Interactions LLC. He also serves as an advisory board member of the World Economic Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Previously he was a member of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation, a Senior Advisor to the Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, the Executive Chairman of Vocado LLC, and a fellow at Harvard’s and Oxford’s schools of government. From 2012 to 2016, Mr. Chehadé was the President and CEO of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), where he successfully guided ICANN’s historical transition to an independent global organization. Prior to that, Mr. Chehadé founded Viacore, which was acquired by IBM in 2006, and RosettaNet, an IT industry coalition establishing pioneering standards for eBusiness. He also held corporate positions at AT&T and Ingram, and was the General Manager of IBM Global Technology Services in the Middle East and Africa. He received an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science summa cum laude from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
