Mary McKenna

Mary McKenna has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mary started their career as Manager of Systems and Reference Services at NELINET, where they introduced new information technologies to libraries and spoke at conferences. Mary then worked at Syracuse University as an AASERT Fellow, conducting research in information retrieval. Mary later joined TextWise LLC, where they held various positions including Chief Product Officer and Director Product Management. During this time, they led product development, sales engagements, and won government contracts. Mary also worked at IP.com as a VP, Search & Text Analytics, and later as VP Client Solutions, where they supported client revenue-generating activity and led the integration of TextWise API with IP.com's services suite. Mary's most recent role is at Interactions LLC, where they started as Senior Director of Product Management and built the Product Management team for their Intelligent Virtual Assistant. Mary now holds the position of Senior Customer Success Director.

Mary McKenna holds a Ph.D. in Information Transfer from Syracuse University, where they completed their studies in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, they attended Simmons University to earn a Master of Library and Information Science (MLS) degree, but the specific field of study is unspecified.
