David Fortier

UX Infrastructure Director at Interactive Brokers

David Fortier has a diverse work experience in various roles. David worked as the UX Infrastructure Director at Interactive Brokers from 2007 onwards, where they managed a global trading platform with daily transaction volumes in excess of 1 million. David also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford from 2011 to 2019, teaching design and development courses. Prior to that, David worked as a Web Designer at LEGO Group, where they led the redesign of the "LEGO Shop" and collaborated with the core brand team in Denmark. David started their career as a Mac Specialist at Apple Computer, promoting the Apple brand and providing exceptional customer service.

David Fortier completed their high school education at Southington High School from 1998 to 2002, earning a high school diploma in General Studies. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at the University of Hartford, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Visual Communications Design from 2002 to 2006.
