Jim Roberts

Jim Roberts has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and sales industries. Jim started their career as a Senior Sales Representative at Aventis/Hoechst Marion Roussel/Marion Merrell Dow/Merrell Dow, where they won multiple regional awards and achieved recognition as Sales Representative of the Year. Jim then transitioned to Diving Concepts Inc., where they served as the Global Sales and Marketing Manager and successfully launched new products into the market. In 2010, Jim joined Amgen, where they held various roles including Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative, District Sales Manager, and Senior Marketing Manager. During their time at Amgen, they demonstrated strong leadership skills, achieved outstanding sales results, and contributed to the development of marketing strategies for multiple products. Most recently, Jim joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Rare Disease Account Sales Manager.

Jim Roberts has an M.A. degree in Aquatic and Population Biology with a focus on Parasitology from UC Santa Barbara. Jim also holds two B.A. degrees, one in Pharmacology and another in Aquatic and Population Biology, also from UC Santa Barbara. In addition to their degrees, Jim obtained a certification in 1993 as a Certified Medical Representative (C.M.R.) from the Certified Medical Representative Institute, specializing in Pharmaceuticals.
