Lorena Calvillo has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting in 1998 with Purdue Pharma as a Specialty Sales/Hospital Representative. During their time there, they achieved numerous awards and successfully launched a new pain management product.
After working at Purdue Pharma, Lorena joined Novo Nordisk A/S as a SR Growth Hormone Territory Manager. Lorena excelled in this role and received accolades for formulary wins at key managed care organizations.
Following their time at Novo Nordisk, Lorena worked at ViaBlitz, Inc. as a Key Account Manager/Sales, where they were responsible for sales and marketing management. Lorena established new business relationships and developed business plans for new product launches.
Lorena then joined Contract Sales-Janssen pharmaceutical as a Diabetes Solution Representative/Account Manager. In this role, they managed accounts and represented the company's diabetes solutions.
Next, Lorena joined Ferring Pharmaceutical Private Limited. as an Executive Account Manager. Their responsibilities included account management for academic teaching institutions, clinics, private practices, and hospitals. Lorena also played a key role in launching a competitive injectable product and worked with specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access.
After their tenure at Ferring Pharmaceutical, Lorena joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Territory Account Manager for Teva Neuroscience. Lorena managed accounts and territories until November 2021.
Most recently, Lorena worked at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as a Sr. Account Manager-ACH, where they managed accounts and territories. Lorena is currently employed at Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Sr. Territory Business Manager.
Throughout their career, Lorena has demonstrated strong sales and account management skills, as well as the ability to successfully launch products and establish business relationships.
Lorena Calvillo has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics, with a field of study in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
