Michael Stapleton

Michael Stapleton has extensive work experience in various industries. Michael currently holds the position of Director - Global Equity Plans at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Manager - Global Equity at the same company from February 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Michael was the Co-Founder of IPuckALot Hockey LLC, a company focused on providing quality rink wear for hockey enthusiasts. Michael held this position since April 2011.

Michael also has experience in the financial sector, having worked at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch, they served as a Client Service Manager from December 2013 to February 2019. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, they held the role of Assistant Vice President - Equity Client Services during the same period.

Prior to their work in the financial industry, Michael worked as a Sales Manager at Portfolio Evaluations, Inc. from September 2009 to December 2013. Michael also gained management experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they served as a Branch Manager from May 2006 to September 2009, responsible for the profitability and growth of the rental branch.

Michael's earlier career experience includes working as an Event Coordinator at Octagon from October 2004 to December 2005.

Michael Stapleton attended Christian Brothers Academy from 1996 to 1999. Michael did not receive a degree or specialize in a particular field of study during this time. Following their graduation from high school, from 1999 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University.
