Rac Casilda Barnes Pharmd

Casilda Barnes PharmD, RAC has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Casilda currently holds the position of Vice President of NA Regulatory Affairs at Kyowa Kirin, Inc.- U.S. since October 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Intercept Pharmaceuticals.

From 2011 to 2014, Casilda worked at Celgene as the Americas Lead Regulatory Strategy Immunology and Inflammatory Conditions. Casilda was responsible for developing regulatory strategies in this role.

Before joining Celgene, Casilda was Head of Regulatory Affairs at Strativa, a Division of Par Pharmaceuticals, from 2009 to 2011. Here, they managed the Regulatory department, obtained approvals for a new drug application (NDA), and directed the development and filing strategy for INDs.

From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Schering Plough, where they gained valuable experience in regulatory affairs. Prior to that, Casilda held the position of Senior Program Manager at Roche Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2006.

Casilda began their career at Pfizer in 1991, where they held various roles such as Medical Information Manager from 1991 to 1998. Casilda then transitioned to the role of Regulatory Liaison Director from 2000 to 2004, before becoming the Clinical Education Coordinator from 1999 to 2000.
