Ebru Ates

Ebru Ates has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over two decades. Ebru is currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Intercos since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lesaffre, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Director of Human Resources from November 2019 to November 2022, Regional HR Director for the Middle East & Central Asia from March 2017 to November 2019, and Country HR Director from February 2016 to March 2017.

Before joining Lesaffre, Ebru worked at VFS Global, where they held the position of Regional HR Head for Russia & CIS from June 2014 to February 2016. Ebru also served as Learning & Development Senior Manager from June 2012 to June 2014 and as Country HR Manager from January 2011 to June 2012.

Prior to VFS Global, Ebru worked at Cadbury as an HR Manager from July 2008 to May 2010. Before that, they gained experience at Petrol Ofisi as a CB & Payroll Supervisor from December 2006 to July 2008, and at Dogus Otomotiv as a Payroll Specialist from July 2001 to February 2006.

Ebru Ates earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Kadikoy Anadolu Lisesi, where they studied from 1989 to 1996. Ebru later pursued a BA in Economy at Marmara University from 1998 to 2002. Ebru Ates has also obtained additional certifications such as the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International (SPHRi) from HRCI and the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in December 2022. Ebru has also obtained certifications in MBTI in 2012 and DISC in 2008.
