Leo Zuñiga is Associate Vice Chancellor of Communications for the Alamo Colleges in San Antonio. The Alamo Colleges is comprised of five community colleges with a combined enrollment of 60,000 students. Mr. Zuñiga earned his baccalaureate degree from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and accepted a fellowship to attend Trinity University in San Antonio for master’s degree work in Urban Studies. He is a lifelong learner and his education includes community organizing training at the Industrial Areas Foundation in Chicago.
Mr. Zuñiga’s work experience includes serving as a housing counselor for the Urban Renewal Agency in Alice, Texas; project manager of the Intercultural Development Research Association, vice president of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation and vice president of SeaWorld of Texas.
