Winston Chow is a Professor of Urban Climate and Pillar Lead for Urban Infrastructure at Singapore Management University, where responsibilities include instructing courses on Climate Change Impacts & Solutions and Urban Sustainability. Chow's role as Co-Lead Principal Investigator for the Cooling Singapore initiative and Lead Author for the IPCC's 6th Assessment Report further highlights contributions to urban climate research. In addition, Chow serves as Co-Chair of Working Group II for the IPCC's Seventh Assessment Cycle, having previously held the position of Associate Professor at Singapore Management University and Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. Chow's academic foundation includes a PhD in Geography from Arizona State University, as well as a BA in English Literature and an MS in Geography, both from the National University of Singapore.
