Peter Birovchak has an extensive work history with various companies. Peter started their career in 1989 as an Assistant Manager for Shell Canada and worked there until 1996. Peter then joined Columbia Rehabilitation Centre as a Facility Operations Associate from 1996 to 1999. After that, they worked for Cardinal Transportation as a Senior Transportation Coordinator from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, they served as the Customer Service and Distribution Manager for K-Bro Linen Systems Inc. Peter then worked as an Operations Coordinator for Fraser Surrey Docks LP from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they joined MTR Western as an Operations Manager for a year. Peter then transferred to Fraser Health Authority, where they worked as a Regional Contract Manager from 2010 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, they held the position of Regional Director - Support Services at Fraser Health Authority. Currently, they are the Director - Capital Procurement and Equipment at Interior Health Authority.

Peter Birovchak has a diverse education history. In 2004-2005, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology where they pursued Film/Cinema/Video Studies. In 2017-2018, Peter obtained a Certificate in Commercial Contracting Advanced Practitioner from the World Commerce and Contracting, specializing in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management. Currently, they are enrolled in Simon Fraser University to obtain an Executive Leadership Certificate in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Peter holds certifications such as Contract and Commercial Management Advanced Practitioner Certification (ACCM) from IACCM and an Executive Leadership Certification from Simon Fraser University.
