Steve Iker

Steve Iker, CISSP, has extensive experience in IT security and systems administration. Currently serving as a System Administrator for the Office of Inspector General at the U.S. Department of the Interior since January 2016, Steve also holds a position as an IT Security Specialist at FEMA, where responsibilities include overseeing an enterprise product for scanning and patching workstations and servers for vulnerabilities and leading vulnerability assessments. Previous roles include Lead Support Engineer at Siemens, where network design and troubleshooting were central tasks, and Supervisor of Cable Modem Tech at Charter Communications, overseeing a team focused on cable service maintenance. Steve holds a TCLEOSE Certification in Law Enforcement from Tarrant County College.
