Greg Jackson

Greg Jackson has worked in the IT industry since 1989. Greg began their career as an Electronic Technician Trainee at EG&G, where they built, tested, and repaired custom circuit boards used by the United States Department of Energy. From 1994-1996, they worked at CompUSA as a Customer Service Representative and Parts Department Clerk, where they improved customer relations by providing troubleshooting assistance, answered hardware/software questions, and provided information on installation. Greg then moved to UPS, where they worked as an Air Driver/Sorter/Loader, preventing an average of 15 service failures per day by delivering expedited packages to customers and researching incorrect or inadequate addresses. In 2001, they became the Owner of Jackson Technologies, where they provided technical training, assisted customers with their technology needs, and continually strived to improve customer computer efficiency and effectiveness. In 2005, they began working at RTD as a SCADA Systems Technical Specialist and SCADA Network Technician, where they defined systems requirements, installed and configured server hardware/software, and managed user accounts and network permissions. In 2021, they joined Xcel Energy as a Scada database specialist/Infrastructure. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Intermap Technologies, Inc. as an IT Systems Administrator.

Greg Jackson has an education history that includes a Master of Science in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University (2010-2012), a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Regis University (2002-2004), and an Associate of Applied Science in Computing and Information Technology with a Networking Emphasis from the Community College of Southern Nevada (2001-2003).
