Simon Marshall

Simon Marshall has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Simon started their career at Mainstream as a Developer/Interactive Designer from 1998 to 2001. Simon then worked as a Digital Project Manager at WRG Creative Communication (formerly With) from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Senior Account Manager at McCann Erickson. Simon then joined Swamp as a Senior Account Manager from 2007 to 2009 before moving to Brass Agency. At Brass Agency, they held the role of Digital Project Manager from 2009 to 2011 and then progressed to become the Digital Delivery Director, a position they held from 2011 to 2019. After that, they joined Dataphiles Ltd as a Senior Digital Project Manager from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Simon is working at IMA-HOME as the Head of DX Project Management since February 2022.

Simon Marshall has a strong educational background in both art and media. Simon obtained a BA Hons 2:1 degree in Interactive & Broadcast Media from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a HND degree in Interior Design at Newcastle College of Art & Design from 1992 to 1994. Their educational journey began at Leeds College of Art & Design, where they obtained an OND degree in Spatial Design from 1990 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Simon has also acquired several certifications related to Scrum and Agile methodologies later in their career. In 2020, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through Scrum Alliance. Simon further enhanced their expertise by obtaining a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in December 2022. Around the same time, they also obtained a Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from the same institution.
