Donna Vandervries

Donna VanderVries currently serves as the IAAO President Elect and has held the position of IAAO Vice President. Since January 2008, Donna has been the Equalization Director for Muskegon County, overseeing the equalization department and acting as the assessor of record for thirteen local units. Previous roles include serving on the AQB board for The Appraisal Foundation and as Newaygo County Equalization Director. Donna's educational background includes degrees in Political Leadership from Michigan State University, a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Cincinnati, and a Doctor of Law from The Ohio State University, among others. Additionally, Donna has experience as an instructor for various colleges and professional organizations and has been involved with multiple leadership programs.
