Paul Thomas

Past President at International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI)

Paul Thomas has a diverse work experience. Paul served in various leadership roles at the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI), including President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Past President. Paul was also involved in the organization as a Director and Associate Director. Additionally, they worked for the Attorney General's Department in the South Australian Government, where they founded and managed the Comprehensive Auto-theft Research System (CARS). Paul held positions such as Manager of the CARS Project, Manager of the Office of Crime Statistics and Research, Acting Director of the Office of Crime Statistics and Research, and Deputy Director of the Office of Crime Statistics and Research. Paul also served as the President of the Australasian Branch of IAATI and held the role of Senior Research Officer at the Attorney General's Department. Paul'swork experience spans from 1990 to the present.

Paul Thomas completed their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Adelaide in 1982. Paul then pursued further studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the same university in 1983.
