Billy Hodges

Billy Hodges, CPMR, serves as the VP of Specifications & Marketing at Illuminations, Inc. since November 2023 and has been the Founder of Digital Filaments since October 2012, focusing on connecting independent lighting manufacturers with professionals. Hodges co-founded and currently presides as President of the Board for the American Association of Independent Lighting Agents (AAILA) since January 2021 and is an affiliate of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). Previous roles include VP Specification Sales at Illuminations, Inc., Technical Designer at Forest Lane Design, and Sales Manager for the Eastern USA & Canada at Prudential Lighting. Hodges has also contributed to education as an instructor at UCLA Extension, teaching a comprehensive course on lighting fundamentals. An Architectural Engineering graduate from Penn State University, Hodges has extensive experience in lighting design, having worked on numerous notable projects throughout the industry.
