Billy Tubb IES IALD serves as the President of the Illuminating Engineering Society since July 2023 and has held various significant roles within the organization, including Southern Regional Director and Chair of District 4. At RKL Sales Corp, Billy Tubb focuses on lighting and control systems design and specification since August 2019. With experience as a Junior Associate Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers since January 2017, Billy Tubb provides consultation and design for high-quality stage equipment, lighting, and acoustical systems. Prior to these roles, Billy Tubb was the Associate Director of Production and Technical Director at the University of New Mexico for nearly three decades and served as President of the New Mexico Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Billy Tubb holds a BFA in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from The University of New Mexico, graduating in 1989.
