Jessica Cyr

Jessica Cyr has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries. Jessica is currently working as a Town Councilor at the Town of South Berwick, where they attend council meetings, acts as a liaison between the town and the public, and reviews and provides recommendations for the annual town budget. Prior to this, they worked at the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in multiple roles. As a Senior Manager, Sales Operations, they oversaw sales operations and as a Client Services Manager, they built a sales fulfillment team and provided excellent service to customers in various product lines. Jessica also served as a Certification Coordinator, where they scheduled and organized certification exams and managed vendor relationships. In addition, they worked as a Certification and Customer Relations Assistant, responding to inquiries and maintaining a membership database. Earlier in their career, they were an Assistant Manager at Reebok, where they managed a team and excelled in customer service. Jessica also worked as a Patient Care Coordinator at Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, where they coordinated orders and provided excellent customer service.

Jessica Cyr completed their Bachelor of Science in Public Management with a concentration in Public Administration. Jessica attended Plymouth State University from 2002 to 2006 and Missouri State University from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, they obtained various certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in August 2015. Jessica also earned multiple certifications from LinkedIn, such as Data Analytics: Dashboards vs. Data Stories, Rules for Rising Leaders, and How to Speak So People Want to Listen, among others.
