Julia Kirchmer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Julia started their career in 2011 as a Public Programs, Archives, and Studio Assistant at Socrates Sculpture Park. In 2012, they became the Marketing & Collections Manager at Nomad, where they worked until 2016. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the Program Director at Gallery 263. In 2016, they joined Synapse SEM as a Content Writer. Julia then worked at The Children's Museum of New Hampshire from 2017 to 2021, first as an Experience Guide and later as a Curator. Since 2018, they have been the Programming Operations Manager at IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Additionally, Julia had roles at Lesley University, where they served as an Art History Instructor and an Assistant to the Director of Program Development, Advancement, and Alumni Relations.
Julia Kirchmer attended Lesley University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Art History and Fine Art. During their time at Lesley University, they also completed a minor in Arts Management. In 2018, Julia participated in a Residency/Retreat program at Otis College of Art and Design, focusing on Curatorial Studies.
