Jerica Claassen

Jerica Claassen currently serves as an IB Workshop Leader at the International Baccalaureate since April 2023 and has been the PYP Coordinator and Pedagogical Leader at Wuxi Boston International School since August 2021. With a strong background in teacher training, mentorship, curriculum development, and facilitating teacher professional development, Jerica ensures curriculum alignment across early years and grades 1-5. Prior experience includes roles as an IB PYP Grade 5 teacher and educator in various schools, where responsibilities involved collaborative planning, development of inquiry-based lessons, and mentoring. Jerica holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Western Cape, complemented by multiple certifications from the International Baccalaureate in relevant educational methodologies.
