Patricia Varela González

Patricia Varela González serves as an IB Workshop Leader and IB examiner for Español Lengua B at Bachillerato Internacional since January 2018. In July 2023, Patricia became the Head of the Modern Languages Department at St. Nicholas School. Previously, from February 2013 to July 2023, Patricia taught at Colegio Miguel de Cervantes, specializing in Español Lengua A and Lengua B for the International Baccalaureate program. During the same period, Patricia also worked at Colegio Miguel de Cervantes IB as a profesora for Español Lengua B. Before these roles, Patricia was a professora de Espanhol at Instituto Cervantes de São Paulo from February 2008 to August 2022. Patricia holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Teaching Spanish to Foreigners from Universidad de Alcalá and an MBA in School Management from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, as well as various other qualifications in language and pedagogy.
