Ana Paula Chagas is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and corporate governance. Currently serving as a Mentora do GT Corporativo e Clima at LACLIMA and a Sócia at Simões Pires Advogados, Ana Paula also holds the position of Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the Water Law Committee at the International Bar Association. Previous roles include being a Sócia at Campos Mello Advogados, Chair of the Environmental Committee at the Brazilian Bar Association, and Partner at Savin Paiva Advogados. Ana Paula has a strong background in managing legal departments and providing legal counsel across various sectors, including electric, mining, and agribusiness. Educational qualifications include an Executive LL.M. in Corporate Law from CEU Law School and multiple Master’s degrees in Environmental Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
