Hugo Brady is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in European Union policy and governance. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Advisor at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development since March 2020, Hugo has expertise in EU justice and home affairs policy, including aspects of internal security, organized crime, and anti-corruption. Previous roles include being a speechwriter for Donald Tusk, the former President of the European Council, from December 2014 to November 2019, and earlier positions as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for European Reform and a Research Associate at the Irish Institute for International and European Affairs. Hugo holds a Diploma in European Law from the Law Society of Ireland and an M.Econ.Sc in European Economic and Public Affairs from University College Dublin, complemented by a degree in Journalism from Dublin City University.
