Carolina Poupinha is an Associate Researcher at The International Council on Clean Transportation since June 2022, focusing on research and analysis for the Light-Duty Vehicles team. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Fellow, where responsibilities involved vehicle energy consumption analysis and life cycle studies, and as an R&D Engineer at EDP, working on renewable energy technologies. Carolina has contributed to European Commission-funded projects under Horizon 2020 and has experience in techno-economic analysis and experimental procedures from internships at Siemens Energy, EIFER, and King Mongkut's University of Technology. Carolina holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and completed Master Studies in Industrial Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
