Ray Minjares is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental policy and public health. Currently serving as the Managing Director in San Francisco and Director of the Heavy-Duty Vehicles Program at the International Council on Clean Transportation since October 2007, Ray focuses on identifying technology pathways to mitigate health and climate impacts from heavy-duty vehicles. Previously, Ray led initiatives related to Clean Air and Climate and Health programs, developing strategies to reduce vehicle emissions and researching the climate-related impacts of transportation. Ray's earlier roles include serving as a Mission Delivery Analyst for the American Cancer Society, where the development of nationwide scorecards was a key achievement, and as a Policy Associate at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, where Ray coordinated efforts for renewable fuels. Ray holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies and Environmental Studies from UCLA.
