Praveen Madhiraju serves as General Counsel at the International Crisis Group since April 2019 and as Senior Counsel at the Enough Project since October 2005, focusing on innovative projects aimed at preventing mass atrocities in war-torn African regions. Previously, Praveen held the position of Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at the Center for American Progress from October 2005 to April 2019, where legal counsel was provided on various matters affecting the non-profit sector. As a Law Fellow at the Public International Law & Policy Group from August 2012 to December 2015, Praveen offered free legal assistance during peace negotiations and other significant legal processes. Praveen began a career as an Associate at Arnold & Porter and also served as a Law Clerk for Judge Damon J. Keith at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Praveen holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University.
