Rob Bains

Rob Bains has a strong background in finance and management accounting. Rob began their career in 2007 as a Management Accountant at Saint Gobain Building Distribution. From there, they moved on to various financial controller roles within the company's different divisions, including CTD, International Timber, Pasquill, and Jewson. In 2015, they became Finance Director at Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, a position they held until 2020. Currently, they serve as the Financial Director at International Decorative Surfaces.

Rob Bains has a diverse education history that includes a high school diploma from Brownhills Community School, completed in 1991. Following this, they attended Sandwell College from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree with a focus on Business & Finance. Rob then enrolled at Nottingham University Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from 1993 to 1996. Finally, Rob pursued further education at The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from 1997 to 2000, earning an ACCA qualification.
