Rick Angelicola

Rick Angelicola has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Rick currently holds the position of Director - Global Business Development and Partnerships at International Development Academy, a role they have held since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at IMG Academy from 2016 to 2020, where they served as the Head of Global Ambassadors. In this role, they managed an international network of B2B partnerships, established new markets, organized global events, and expanded brand awareness.

Before joining IMG Academy, Rick worked as an Executive Recruiter at Ajilon in 2015, specializing in HR, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and Administrative staff. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at HTIR as a Management Consultant and Manager in International Relations, where they managed key accounts and projects aimed at raising awareness with students and building relationships in the educational and athletic communities.

In 2013, Rick held two positions: Recruiting Coordinator at American Language Academy Greensboro, where they managed recruiting areas and developed strategic relationships with international partners, and Player at Club Deportivo Sula Lima.

From 2012 to 2013, they served as Director of Inreach and Co-director of Outreach at West Virginia King's Warriors, managing and leading a diverse group of semi-professional athletes through transformative programs. Rick also worked as Head Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Bryan College during this time.

Rick's earliest work experience dates back to 2008 when they were a Youth Tour Leader/Intern at Missionary Athletes International, leading high school and college student athletes on various tours and utilizing soccer and education to connect with communities. Rick also had summer playing experience at the PDL level and focused on communications and marketing during an internship.

Rick Angelicola obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Spanish from Bryan College between 2007 and 2011.
