Melisa Leñero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design strategy and management. Currently serving as a Senior Design Strategist & Manager at iDE (International Development Enterprises) since August 2021, Melisa leads initiatives focused on areas such as water, sanitation, climate change, and maternal health, collaborating with notable international development organizations. In addition, Melisa is an Associate Lecturer in Design Management at the University of the Arts London and has held roles such as Senior Strategy Manager at WorkMotion and Research Strategist at the University of Exeter's DIGIT Lab. Melisa's prior experience includes founding MAKELABS to enhance young adults' wellbeing through the arts and co-founding CreativoTres, a creative studio. Melisa's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in Global Innovation Design from prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
