Paraskevi Salpea

Paraskevi Salpea is an experienced epidemiology manager currently leading projects at the International Diabetes Federation since December 2021, with responsibilities including project management, data analysis supervision, and scientific communication regarding the IDF Diabetes Atlas. Previously, Paraskevi served as the manager of epidemiology and the IDF Diabetes Atlas at the International Diabetes Federation from November 2018 to July 2019. Additionally, experience includes roles as a senior research scientist at ULB, post-doctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and pre-doctoral fellow in various research settings. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Epigenetics of Aging and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
