Steve Riehs

Steve comes to IEC with over three decades of experience, including 13 years as the Group President at a large, multi-site and distributed systems of postsecondary career education. Prior to that role, he served as the CEO of an education technology company and served as COO for a medical education network. Throughout his career, Steve has demonstrated strong business capabilities such as championing strategic growth, implementing transformational strategies, expanding product offerings, and scaling business processes to drive performance, and substantial global experience blending business development in education, healthcare, and technology.

Steve has significant classroom experience as well, having served as a faculty member for a decade teaching operations management and business. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.
