Jules Duval

Jules Duval has a vast work experience in the medical field. From 1996 to 2004, they served as a Physician in the United States Air Force, where they completed residency training and later became a primary care physician. Jules also took on managerial responsibilities and conducted medical evaluations.

In 2005, Duval became the Medical Director at the Smithsonian Institution, leading their occupational health and wellness programs. Jules managed a team of healthcare providers delivering services to employees, volunteers, and visitors at various Smithsonian locations. Jules also ensured emergency response services for museum visitors.

Since 2014, Duval has been working at the World Bank, initially as a Senior Medical Officer and currently as the Chief Medical Officer. In their current role, they manage the health and wellness of World Bank Staff worldwide. Jules leads a global team and implements multi-disciplinary regional Hubs in different international locations. Duval also provides COVID-19 guidance and support to the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund across 140 country office locations.

Jules Duval has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont, which was obtained from 1992 to 1996. Jules also completed a Family Medicine Residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned an A.B. degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Saint Anselm College from 1982 to 1986. Jules Duval has also obtained a certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
