Tom Holsten

Tom Holsten currently serves as the VP, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at International Flavors & Fragrances since February 2021, previously holding the position of IP Corporate Counsel at DuPont from May 2011 to February 2021. Holsten's extensive experience in intellectual property law includes leading IP strategies in the Home & Personal Care business, advising clients on patent prosecution and licensing in biotechnology, and managing various IP portfolios across diverse technologies. Holsten co-founded 17th Street Legal, PLLC, and worked as a Patent Attorney at Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione, among other roles in notable law firms and companies. Educational credentials include a J.D. from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and a B.S. in Biology from East Carolina University.
