Trevor Starr

Trevor Starr is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in microbiology and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at International Flavors & Fragrances since October 2021, Trevor previously worked at Dupont Industrial Biosciences as Scientist II from June 2015 to August 2021. At the Energy Biosciences Institute, UC Berkeley, Trevor held multiple positions, including Assistant Project Specialist with Exceptional PI Status and Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on yeast and filamentous fungal biology, genetic manipulation, and protein secretion. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Molecular Biosciences & Biotechnology from Arizona State University.
