Vicki Matranga serves as a Guest Curator at the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture since November 2020. With extensive experience at the International Housewares Association starting in September 1992, Vicki is the Design Programs Coordinator, where responsibilities include originating the Student Design Competition and managing the Housewares Design Awards. Vicki is also an Industrial Design Historian at the National Coalition of Independent Scholars, focusing on Chicago industrial design from 1930 to 1970, and frequently lectures and contributes to various publications. Previous curatorial work includes the Culinary Curiosity exhibition at Kendall College Charitable Trust from 2007 to November 2020, where Vicki created a series of themed displays. Vicki has a D-Crit from the School of Visual Arts, an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a B.A. in the History of Architecture and Art from the University of Illinois Chicago.
