VP, Global Customer Experience at (ISC)²

John Giddings is the VP of Global Customer Experience at (ISC)². John has over 20 years of experience in customer service and operations management.

John started their career in customer service at ASOS.com, where they eventually became the Customer Operations Director (Global). In this role, they were responsible for leading a team that provided excellent customer service to over 20 million customers in a digital environment.

John then transitioned to IKEA Group, where they became the Global Operations Manager for the company's Customer Support Centers. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of 26 customer support center managers around the world. John also developed the CSC Operational Framework, which outlined what 'good practice' looked like within IKEA. In addition, John implemented an Operational Review process that helped countries assess how they were doing against the Operational Framework. This process was rolled out in Norway, Canada, China, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Russia, and Portugal.

After their time at IKEA Group, John took on an interim role as the Customer Experience Director at National Express. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the customer experience across all channels.

John is currently the VP of Global Customer Experience at (ISC)². In this role, they are responsible for leading a team of customer experience professionals and driving the company's customer experience strategy.

John Giddings graduated from Rutlish High School and then went on to study Strategic Training and Development at the University of Surrey. John has also gained certification from Awards International in Judge at the International Customer Experience Awards, as well as from Awards International Ltd (our LinkedIn Page) in Judge at the UK Customer Experience Awards. Additionally, they have been certified by Customer Experience Magazine (CXM) in CX Stars 2021 (Top 10).

John Giddings reports to Wesley Simpson, COO. John Giddings works with Clayton Jones - Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Tim Campo - Director, Security, and Debra Taylor - CFO.
