Matthew Gidden currently serves as a Senior Research Scholar and has also held roles as a Guest Research Scholar and Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) since October 2015. In addition, Matthew Gidden works as a Senior Scientific Advisor and Team Leader for Modelling & Mitigation Pathways Analysis at Climate Analytics since October 2019. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position and NEUP Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2010 to October 2015, along with internships and research assistant roles at AREVA NP, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Matthew Gidden holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering with a focus on Energy Policy and a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University.
