Alek Georgeson

Alek Georgeson currently serves as the English Language Learners (ELL) Program Coordinator at the International Institute of Wisconsin, Inc. since November 2023. Previously, Alek held the position of Catering Supervisor at Wisconsin Union, showcasing expertise in customer service for events with diverse group sizes. Alek's teaching experience includes roles as a Native English Teacher at Amslink, Teacher of English as a Second Language at Maximo Nivel, and a Volunteer ESL Teacher with CLUES, focusing on students ranging from preschoolers to adults, with a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity. Alek earned a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Minneapolis College.
