Kathy Stout-Labauve has extensive work experience in the fields of aftercare and rape crisis support. Kathy started their career as the Founding Director at the University Medical Center Rape Crisis Center in 1981, where they served until 1985. Kathy later joined the same organization again in 1988 as the Director of the Rape Crisis Center, a role they held until 1991. In 2006, Kathy joined the International Justice Mission as the Vice President of Aftercare. Kathy then transitioned to the role of Aftercare Specialist in 2008 and remained with the organization until 2011.
Kathy Stout-Labauve completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Community Development, Individual and Family Services at Louisiana State University from 1979 to 1981.
