Ghulam Fareed

Ghulam Fareed has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and management. Ghulam is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology at International Maritime Industries since January 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Information Technology (A) from December 2020 to December 2021. Ghulam also served as the Manager of the Applications Support Department at International Maritime Industries from March 2019 to December 2020, and as a Subject Matter Expert in IT from September 2016 to March 2019.

Before their time at International Maritime Industries, Ghulam Fareed worked at Lamprell, where they held the role of ERP Systems Manager from November 2016 to January 2020. Ghulam also served as the Team Lead for Oracle Supply Chain, eAM, and Financials from September 2014 to October 2016, and as a Financials Consultant from July 2013 to August 2014. Lamprell is a prominent player in the offshore industry in the Arabian Gulf.

Prior to Lamprell, Ghulam Fareed worked at APPSLINK as a Senior Applications Consultant from December 2011 to July 2013. Ghulam started their career at PwC in 2007, where they served as a Senior Consultant and Senior Oracle Functional Consultant at A. F. Ferguson & Co. until December 2011.

Ghulam Fareed's education history includes attending the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2020 to 2021, where they completed the "Leadership in an Exponentially Changing World" program. Additionally, in 2020, they completed the MIT Sloan Digital Business Strategy Program from the same institution. Before that, from 2004 to 2010, Fareed studied at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, earning a degree in Professional Accounting Affiliate with a focus on Chartered Accountancy. Ghulam'searlier education includes completing FSc in Accounting and Finance at Army Public College Pano Aqil Cantt from 2002 to 2004. Ghulam Fareed has also obtained several certifications, including "Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA)" from ISACA in 2023 and "Project Management Professional (PMP)®" from the Project Management Institute in August 2023.
