Ben Halbert

Ben Halbert has had several work experiences in various roles and industries. Ben started their career at City Satellite Limited, where they worked part-time providing IT support and training while attending Cardiff University. Ben then joined First Talk Limited as an ICT Manager, where they managed and upgraded computer networks and implemented paperless office systems. After this, they worked as a consultant at Web Dragon, assisting organizations with their computer systems and administrative processes.

In 2009, Ben returned to City Satellite as a Technical Director, where they implemented quality and environmental management systems and obtained various company certifications. Ben then joined International Medical Group (IMG) as a Finance Administrator, eventually becoming the Reporting Officer and later the Client Support and Administration Manager. In these roles, they carried out data entry, quality control, and payment authorization processes, as well as generating financial reports for clients and managing client accounts.

In 2018, Ben joined the Academy of Steel as a Historical Fencing Assistant Instructor, before moving on to their most recent position at IMG as the Head of Business Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for supporting business planning and strategy, resolving operational issues, enhancing efficiency, and improving the customer journey.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated a strong understanding of operational processes, technical skills, and best practices. Ben has also shown the ability to work remotely with global teams and adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Ben Halbert attended Barry Comprehensive for their high school education from 1996 to 2003. During this period, they studied Computing as their field of study. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science with Knowledge Based Systems at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2003 to 2009.
