Augustus J. Panton is an accomplished economist currently serving at the International Monetary Fund since January 2021 and as a Research Associate at The Australian National University (ANU) since May 2017. With expertise in macro and microeconomics, Augustus has contributed as an Associate Lecturer and previously as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at ANU's Research School of Economics. Notable accolades include the ANU Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Education in 2019 and several teaching commendations.
