David Dent

David Dent, P.E. (VA, DE), CEFP, VCCO, serves as the Division Chief for Facilities and Workplace Management at the International Monetary Fund since May 2021. Prior to this role, David held the position of Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning, Construction and Management at The George Washington University from May 2012 to May 2021. From December 2001 to May 2012, David was the Director of Planning, Design, and Construction at Virginia Tech, and earlier, from June 1997 to December 2001, held the title of Director of Public Works and County Engineer for Giles County. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Old Dominion University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at The George Washington University.
