Dimitris Laliotis is a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in financial sector oversight and stability. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Sector Expert at the International Monetary Fund since July 2018 and as a Senior Financial Stability Expert at the European Central Bank, Laliotis's roles focus on macro-prudential policy and financial stability. Previous positions include Risk Manager in the Banking Supervision Department at the Bank of Greece and CEO of FIXEL SA, with a strong background in trading and sales as Director at Eurocorp Securities SA and other roles at PROTON BANK, SIGMA Securities, and Citibank. Academically, Laliotis holds a Ph.D. in Computational & Quantitative Finance and an M.Sc. in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London, complemented by a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
