Ashenafi Tefera has extensive experience in humanitarian operations and project management, currently serving as a National Operations Officer for IOM - UN Migration since May 2010. Previously, Ashenafi was a Camp Coordinator at the Administration for Refugee and Returnee Affairs from June 2008 to April 2010, where responsibilities included camp management and coordination of protection, health, and nutrition services. Ashenafi also worked as a Project Manager for ZOA, managing various refugee care projects in Tigray, Ethiopia from February 2005 to May 2007, focusing on community services and vocational training. Ashenafi holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Aid and International Cooperation from KALU Institute, earned between April 2018 and February 2020.
