Paula Palacios

Paula Palacios is a specialist in economic inclusion focusing on entrepreneurship and poverty alleviation programs at HIAS since February 2022. Prior to this role, Paula contributed as a volunteer in advocacy and communication projects for Sacha Warmi, an organization dedicated to women's empowerment and human rights. Previous positions include serving as an administrative assistant at the Global Catholic Climate Movement and an intern in the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment at the Organization of American States. Earlier experience at HIAS as an intern involved project analysis, database development, and documentation translation. Paula holds a degree in International Relations from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Migration, Development, and Human Rights.
